2 Corinthians 5:17

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation; old things have passed away, and look, NEW things[a] have come.

Revelation 21:5

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Then the One seated on the throne said, “Look! I am making everything NEW.” He also said, “Write, because these words[a] are faithful and true.”

After a year in limbo, my old life ended at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013.

The previous year is in the past.  The old life – with all its repeated hurts, irrational expectations, broken promises, broken trust, and one-sided, dysfunctional relationships – is over and done.

I’m ready to move forward to the NEW.

NEW hopes.

NEW dreams.

NEW goals.

NEW vision.

NEW healthy boundaries.

NEW friendships.

NEW relationships.

NEW LIFE.

God is so very, very faithful and GOOD.

Oh, I just love the NEW boundaries! Somewhere in Proverbs Solomon tells us that our Lord’s boundaries fall in pleasant places. I also had to learn the wisdom of saying no at times, even to myself, now that I have to be very careful on how I spend my limited energy due to Fm/CFS.
